If this is the first time that you visit Florence with your kids, this outdoor tour is perfect for you! It aims to give you a general overlook of the city with its best and most famous attractions such as the area of the Duomo where the religious life of the Florentines took place in the past and is still taking place now.

There the kids will be told about the functions of the different buildings, their history and their styles in an easy but still informative way. The tour will continue with the political center of Florence, piazza della Signoria, where the imposing Palazzo Vecchio has always hosted the government of the city and where there is a collection of remarkable Renaissance statues. You will be told about the subjects they represent and their meaning for us.

There will be time also to step on the Ponte Vecchio, a bridge now famous for the elegant jewelleries and once for a stinking smell, and also to have a look at the statue of the Porcellino whose nose, if rubbed, will bring you good luck forever! On the way we will walk by a few famous “gelaterie”...no need to say that you can stop to try one of them or even more!

Cristiana and Roberta were excellent tour guides for our Roman holiday. As a business owner, taking off time is difficult.

After scraping and saving for a year, we decided to take our kids to Florence for some fun in the sun. We visited the Vatican on day one of our vacation, to see the art collection and visit the holy city.

My 8-year-old son wanted to be a gladiator; we had a chance to visit the gladiator school. We toured the coliseum and my daughter loved it. Lunch was great, and then we toured the outskirts for a day.

Touring Florence at night was a great experience; the city glowed like a diamond. The music, the food and the laughter was a refreshing experience. The food was great, loved the Italian Sodas and Ice cream.

We explored the city for 5 days and nights, not all night long. We had a great time; the travel was easy and affordable. I would not change the experience for anything in the world. After five days, I felt refreshed and ready to go back to work.

I hope that you will take the chance to go out and experience Florence for yourself, I am glad that I did.
